Summer Institute is a safe place to reveal who you really are – not just around the money in your life, but what you are afraid of, what you love, and what you want. It is a warm community of people who help each other grow through the challenges of wealth and life. There is no place else I feel as heard, seen, and supported.

A very sweet, profound, informative, resource-filled and rare opportunity to explore what it means to be an inheritor in a safe, confidential space.

~

I went thinking I’d get a lot of practical information and advice about managing wealth, but I found that I learned more about myself, met people who inspired, motivated, and supported me, and who will hopefully be lifelong friends.

~

Summer Institute is a unique friendly group for sharing about the issues that affect inheritors and their partners. It is especially unusual in the way they value the voices of the spouses and partners of inheritors. You’ll leave with new friends, new ideas, and new resources.

The Summer Institute is a unique community for safely exploring who you are and who you want to be. In a way, inheritance and money becomes a non-issue because we have that experience in common. It is a place to figure out how to use your inheritance to enhance your life and accomplish your dreams.

SI has been an invaluable community of other inheritors that have made me a better parent and our kids better prepared than we were!

If you are thoughtful, reflective, and are curious about the impact of inheritance, this is for you.

~

Excellent place of self-discovery around money.

I am still learning new things at my 12th Summer Institute. SI is a safe place to talk about whatever is not working in your life and the impact wealth has on those issues. There are no judgments or assumptions; there is great humility and wisdom.  Everyone is a teacher and everyone is a student. We are a learning community focused on being empowered people, using our wealth to live our life purpose.

Summer Institute is a place where I could unabashedly be my whole self.  Wealth is a sensitive topic, and here we had space and freedom and the confidentiality to talk about issues related to wealth. As a partner of an inheritor, Summer Institute has been a breath of fresh air. I had a lot of fun, too!

~

Summer Institute is a very comfortable, supportive, nonjudgmental environment. People open up and real friendships are formed. I’ve been coming for 15 years and count these people among some of the most important friends in my life.

~

I feel wealthier than before! I just inherited a huge family and regardless of how much we see each other, I’ll always know that in some corner of the world I have someone else who is experiencing some of the similar challenges and opportunities as I, and they are supporting me being me.

~

It has helped my family finally talk about the elephant in the room – our inherited wealth. We have been coming year after year. With each gathering our conversations grow richer and deeper.

~

It’s a safe place to explore a complicated issue – it’s like dating your brother’s best friend: everyone’s already been vetted.

A welcoming group of people who talk openly about the taboo topic of family wealth and its impact on our lives and relationships. I love connecting with such a supportive group which supports my growth as a human being.

~

It is a place where my wife and I can share openly with others about our asymmetrical wealth and the impact it has on our relationship. A real community.

~

As a partner of a person with inherited wealth, I had access to information and experiences that significantly contributed to our marriage and relationship.
